After a public meeting earlier in the month, the board sent out a survey for families to give their opinions about cameras in the classroom; 85% of those surveyed were in favor, according to Evans. Some teachers have expressed concern about privacy issues with cameras recording all day, however, Evans said the footage would only be accessed if there was reasonable suspicion of something occurring in the classroom.
